A very happy new year to everyone and hello 2021!

2020 posed a unique set of challenges for all of us – COVID-19 changed the way we live, and how we get our food and daily essentials. I remember sitting with our team in an urgent meeting early in the year as it became clear we needed an immediate plan to help our customers get access to food and daily essentials more efficiently. 10 months on, our teams across our 12 markets have transformed many aspects of our operations to cope with COVID, as deliveries became an essential service. 

Looking back at the past year, our technology has enabled hundreds of thousands of people across Asia to continue earning a living amidst the most challenging economic times – from riders earning a flexible income, to F&B businesses going digital for the first time, we worked together to serve millions of consumers, delivering food and daily essentials quickly, and safely.
