About the opportunity

As an Associate within the APAC People Services team, you will provide front-line services and support for regional employees and managers. You will manage various employee lifecycle events and ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
 

  1. Front Line Services:
  • Provide front-line support for regional employees and managers, handling inquiries and resolving issues.
  1. Lifecycle Events Management:
  • Act as the point of contact for employee lifecycle events including onboarding, off-boarding, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Coordinate and support onboarding activities, including conducting new hire orientation sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies during these events.
  1. HR Administrative Processes:
  • Handle HR administrative processes such as work pass applications, employee letter requests, and benefits administration.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of these tasks.
  1. Payroll and HRIS Maintenance:
  • Prepare employee changes for payroll data.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Partner with local in-country People Ops teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support improvement initiatives to enhance HR operations.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives with regional and local People Services teams.
  1. Agile Support:
  • Support changes in people-related operations processes to meet business growth and needs across various markets.
  1. Regulatory Awareness:
  • Stay informed about local labor regulations to ensure compliance.
  1. Ad Hoc Projects:
  • Support any other ad hoc projects as assigned.

What you need to be successful

  • 1-3 years of experience in People Operations, HR,, or Business Administration.
  • Passion for employee experience—"Employees are our customers" mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Tech-savvy, with experience in HRIS (Workday preferred), ticketing systems (JIRA), and knowledge management tools (Confluence) being a plus.
  • Highly adaptable, proactive, and a team player with a strong sense of ownership.
