About the opportunity
- Design, build and maintain state-of-the art reports on tableau to empower the local team to make optimal business decisions;
- Conduct thorough, insightful and beautifully presented deep-dives into specific business topics and trends;
- Spearhead ad-hoc projects such as report automation systems, dashboard creation and continuous in maintenance of the data pipeline;
- Lead the data engineering segment in constant cooperation with the regional and global data teams;
- Coordinate with other data and Insights resources into sharing, adopting and refining best practices;
What you need to be successful
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics or in other relevant fields;
- Preferably you have 1+ years of work experience in high growth start-ups, tech companies, consulting or business intelligence;
- Strong analytical skills and passion for data;
- Ability to tell a story from data and present it in a clear and compelling way;
- Proficient knowledge of Excel and SQL;
- Knowledge of VBA or R would be an advantage;
- Knowledge of Python would be an advantage;
- Proficient communication in English (Cantonese is a plus);
- Desire to work in a vibrant and fast-paced environment with high quality standards and tight deadlines;
- Great energy and a positive attitude.
