Director, Logistics

We are on the lookout for a Director of Logistics to join the Logistics team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. 

• Lead foodpanda strategy design.
• Lead high-priority operational projects to deliver major cost efficiencies.
• Execute projects with the local and the global teams to their maximal potential.
• Lead, growth and empower a team of highly motivated individuals.
• Take ownership of performance improvement initiatives that strengthen our fleet and rider’s relationships.
• Optimize and structure the process to run a highly efficient fleet management system.
• Hands-on approach and desire to dive deep into details to better understand and shape solutions to our daily operational issue.
• Build a strong functional expertise.

• Graduate from a top institution with an outstanding degree in business, economics or engineering.
• 10-15 years of Solid track record in Operations Management.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated management & team development skills.
• Highly analytical, data-driven & with a keen eye on process improvement.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce/e-marketplaces is not a necessity, but a very strong advantage.
• Highly organized and able to work on multiple projects in a self-structured and well-prioritized way.
• Driven, proactive, and self-motivated to be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to learn about new concepts and methodologies in this constantly evolving industry.
