Job description
As the Head of Business Development, you will be in the driver's seat of creating and delivering the strategy for the overall stability and scalability of one product vertical in Philippines footprint as the leading player in the restaurant technology ecosystem across the regions. To succeed, you need to possess a blend of strong leadership, clear vision setting and an ability to drive execution of the strategy.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for country-wide new acquisition targets and initiatives for the Philippines. This includes all aspects of business development activities including creation and execution of a detailed sales pipeline driving market share, increasing volume and delivering incremental revenue growth.
Create sales plans and budgets, outlining sales forecasts and sales quotas for the team and individual BD representatives.
Drive commercial go-to-market strategy for each market to identify new business opportunities to encourage further commercial success.
Continuously improve the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This might involve refining lead generation, prospecting, and customer acquisition techniques.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to maximize their potential.
Execute lead generation activities and promotions to drive awareness and accelerate initial adoption of the solution.
Negotiate, execute and manage the customer contract agreement process, ensuring global linkage of resources and information sharing.
Lead Sales enablement process to ensure the sales team in the Philippines are well equipped with organization product and process knowledge.
Any other activities which may required as per the position requirement
Experience Required:
Minimum 7+ total years of experience executing, leading and building high growth sales and Business Development teams in a leadership role
Strong connections with direct brands specifically within the F&B industry.
Preference for candidates who have experience of scaling start-ups / mid-sized tech or product-based companies.
Scalability, reliability, and sustainability should be in your DNA while prioritizing and juggling among several urgent priorities.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
Ability to work both independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
