About the opportunity

As our Head of Commission Strategy, you will drive the commission and take-rate strategy across 17 markets, shaping how restaurant partners engage, grow, and succeed on our platforms. This role is pivotal in balancing commercial performance with long-term partner health, ensuring best-in-class governance, scalable pricing frameworks, and seamless cross-functional execution.
 

What you will do

  • Drive commission revenues across 17 markets in Delivery Hero.

  • Design, champion, and own the end-to-end commission and take-rate strategy for the food vertical. This includes defining floors, ceilings, tiers, and dynamic commission structures that optimize restaurant acquisition, engagement, and long-term profitability.

  • Establish best-in-class governance frameworks and robust project management methodologies for the change management and deployment of all commercial policies across the 17-market cluster.

  • Develop and own sophisticated financial models to simulate the P&L impact of new pricing policies. Translate complex market requirements into clear, compliant, and scalable commercial policies.

  • Lead cross-functional project management, collaborating with product, marketing, finance, and data teams to drive new revenue-generating initiatives.

  • Ensure commercial policies are scalable, operationally executable, and aligned with both global strategy and local market nuances.

  • Partner closely with regional and local teams to ensure aligned implementation and continuous improvement of commission structures and partner programs.


What you need to be successful

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial strategy, pricing, monetization, or revenue operations, gained in high-growth tech companies, marketplaces, or consulting environments.

  • Strong experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple geographies (Asia & Europe), including both central and regional teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through implementation.

  • Proven track record of turning analytical insights into practical, commercially impactful decisions and scalable solutions.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, trade-offs, and execution complexity in fast-moving organizations.
