About the opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Retail Media to lead our local Retail Media & Partnerships team. In this role, you will take ownership of building strategic partnerships, driving innovative advertising solutions, and expanding our presence in the on-demand delivery ecosystem.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee local partnerships across the Restaurant, Dark Stores & Shops verticals with CPGs and media agencies, ensuring alignment with the company's media business objectives.

  • Define and implement strategies to support local Category Management teams in driving growth for partner brands through tailored media proposals, innovative ad solutions, and actionable consumer insights.

  • Build and nurture high-impact relationships with key retail media partners, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring sustained collaboration.

  • Develop and deliver compelling, high-level sales pitches and media strategies that demonstrate the unique value of our multi-channel and multi-vertical advertising capabilities.

  • Drive the performance of advertising campaigns (both on-site and off-site fixed & biddable media placements), overseeing optimization processes, analyzing outcomes, and presenting insights that maximize brand growth and media ROI.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Promotions & Campaigns, Marketing, and Creative, to ensure seamless execution of media solutions and alignment on overarching business goals.

  • Act as a thought leader in the retail media space, staying ahead of industry trends and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth within your market.

  • Lead and mentor the team of Retail Media specialists, creating a collaborative work environment, setting and fulfilling growth strategy, and monitoring progress towards goals.

What you need to be successful

  • 6+ years of experience in an advertisement agency, brand or retailer side on eCommerce related role, ideally within FMCG field

  • Proven track record of managing and negotiating high-value partnerships with CPGs, media agencies, or retailers.

  • Strong understanding of AdTech, programmatic advertising, or PPC, with the ability to leverage these tools for business growth.

  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to lead teams, define business objectives, and implement solutions that deliver measurable results.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights and strategies.

  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
