Intern, Category Management (Snacking)

You will be empowered to support the Category Management Team in foodpanda Philippines.

The role requires to drive development, growth and day to day operations for the snacking category portfolio at PandaMart, this will include:

• Category Development: Be the voice of the consumer, be on top of Industry and Market Knowledge and consumer understanding of what customers buy and why.
• Develop category assortment in alignment with consumer needs and PandaMart strategy
• Range development: Expand categories basis selection requirement.
• Product Communication Strategy: Create consumer centric catalogue that helps improve conversion.
• Category profitability and Growth: Plan and deliver on growth (Volume, Value) in alignment with Internal Category teams
• Work with the commercial teams to drive discovery, traffic and conversion
• ​​​Ensure active participation in all relevant events across platforms
• Support the Category Managers and work closely with Business and Finance to manage portfolio pricing
• Inventory Management: Work closely with category and sourcing teams to ensure stock availability
• Quality: Own the quality scores (Ratings, reviews and return). Work closely with dark stores to take regular feedback and improve scores
• Other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by your supervisor

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Management Engineering, Marketing, Business or equivalent
• Internship must be an academic requirement, can render atleast 300 hours
• Proficiency in using MS applications, and relevant reports as well as analytics tools will be an advantage
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good analytical and research capabilities.
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results.
• Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role.
