Job description
This role is based in Singapore and will report to the Regional Growth Strategy team. As an Acquisitions/Growth Strategy Intern, your core mission is to drive new customers to place their first order with us, growing our monthly active user base across 16 markets in APAC, Europe and Turkey.
The role blends four things: data analysis to uncover growth opportunities, experimentation to test what works, operations to execute changes across markets, and strategy to shape and communicate the plan. You'll turn data-driven decisions into hands-on execution.
The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity, takes ownership of their work, and can manage multiple stakeholders across markets and functions.
This internship will last up to 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Support the performance management of core KPIs, including customer acquisition, first-order conversion, and monthly active user growth for a portfolio of assigned countries.
- Analyse customer and funnel data to identify opportunities to grow the customer base, spotting where new and lapsed users drop off before their first order.
- Design and run experiments to test growth levers and read out results to inform rollout decisions.
- Execute on operational changes such as incentive/voucher adjustments and cross-country alignments, working closely with local teams.
- Partner with local market teams to implement priorities and ensure budget alignment.
- Collaborate with other regional teams (e.g. product, data) to support growth initiatives.
- Build management reporting and presentations that translate results into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business, statistics, analytics or a related field.
- Prior internship experience in a tech or high-growth company is a plus.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking, with a genuine interest in the on-demand / food delivery business.
- A test-and-learn mindset, comfortable framing a hypothesis, running an experiment, and acting on the result.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and work independently to deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of SQL is a strong advantage.
