Job description
We are looking for a Manager, Finance Insights - QCommerce to join our growing business!
Responsibilities
Spearheads calls with the local business vertical (QCommerce) to build the weekly outlook on topline and profitability, spanning the current month to end of year forecast
Analyzes and reports the week on week movements on the outlook as part of management reporting to local and Regional stakeholders
Analyzes and reports the variances actual month-end financial results and target as part of management reporting to local and Regional stakeholders
Updates the local monitoring files that houses forecast data, targets data and actual financial performance, and ensures that figures and KPIs are accurate and complete, for monitoring and analysis purposes
Spearheads the annual budgeting exercise for QCommerce vertical covering all profitability metrics, excluding SGA
Does scenario analysis, as needed, to provide feasible options in relation to Company operations in line with achieving topline and profitability targets
Proactively initiates dashboards creation, along with data team, for relevant views of financial metrics related to operations ofQCommerce
Conducts weekly calls with the business unit (QCommerce) to monitor operational run rates, assess the performance of applicable campaigns/activities, and provide recommendations on business directions in view of financial viability
Actively participates in the MEC review to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial records
Implements process controls to ensure accounting records are accurate and complete
Is actively involved in addressing audit requirements for the preparation of audited financial statements of QCommerce and other regulatory reportings/requirements (tax audits, etc)
Academic degree in Finance or Economics
At least 5 years of experience
Fluency in English (our corporate language) and great communication skills.
Is able to translate in-depth knowledge of the business to its financial impact and provide recommendations to grow and improve profitability of the QCommerce business
Is a team-player and is able to collaborate effectively with many internal stakeholders to influence financial results towards achieving business targets
Is persuasive, analytical, and innovative
Has in-depth knowledge of IFRS/PFRS and GAAP
Has Knowledge in accounting systems related to GL, AR, AP processing
