About the opportunity

  • Provide legal advice/opinion in various legal matters, including corporate law, foreign business law, consumer protection law and e-commerce related regulations, and cooperate with other departments under Delivery Hero entities in Thailand to complete any related tasks.
  • Handle corporate secretary matters and corporate registrations for Delivery Hero entities in Thailand.
  • Oversee personal data protection governance and compliance.
  • Being the first point of contact to support the stakeholders and the authorities with regard to the business operational licenses and permits.
  • Act as the first point of contact with regards to legal related inquiries from the authorities concerning the business operational
  • Responsible for regulatory compliance for Delivery Hero entities in Thailand, which covers providing advice in obtaining, renewing, or terminating required licenses, permits, initiating permit applications or liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance such as reporting to government authorities if required.
  • Draft, review, evaluate risk factors and provide appropriate solutions regarding the commercial-related agreements and legal documents such as notice and POAs.
  • Conduct research on legal issues and provide knowledge and awareness to colleagues and related stakeholders.
  • Support Senior Manager, Regional and Global team members of Delivery Hero on assigned projects.
  • Supervise legal team members.
  • Liaison with Thai government authorities on behalf of Delivery Hero entities in Thailand.

What you need to be successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (Master’s degree in Law is preferable)
  • At least 4 years of working experience
  • Law firm and FMCG experience is preferable, but not required.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of laws and procedures, e.g., e-commerce, contract, corporation, consumers’ product, etc.
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written communication)
  • Thai nationality with the lawyer license is preferable, but not required.
