About the opportunity

As the Manager at foodpanda Taiwan, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing communication strategies, managing media relationships, handling crisis situations, and engaging with CSR initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and collaborate with regional teams to deliver creative messages that align with our brand values. Your role will be integral in enhancing our brand reputation and driving positive social impact within the Taiwan market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication Plans: Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans that align with foodpanda’s goals and objectives.
  • Routine PR Activities Arrangement: Plan and coordinate press releases and media events to effectively communicate our brand messages and achievements. Research and identify pitching opportunities to develop in-depth articles. Support spokesperson with on-brand messaging.
  • Media Relationship Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with media to ensure positive coverage and visibility.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management protocols to effectively handle and mitigate potential issues that may arise.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver positive and comprehensive branding images.
  • CSR Initiatives Arrangement: Engage and execute ESG initiatives within the organization, ensuring alignment with global ESG standards.

What you need to be successful


  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in public relations, preferrably at least 2-3 years of in-house experience.
  • Excellent in managing media relations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Proven experience in crisis management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically to drive brand awareness and reputation.
  • Passion for sustainability and experience with ESG initiatives is a plus.
