Manager, Strategy & Planning
We are looking for a Strategy and Planning Manager, to join our Strategy & Planning team which specializes in country marketing & growth strategy for Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand markets.
The Strategy and Planning Manager will combine great analytical skills, exceptional strategic thinking, and superior organization/project management capabilities to help the regional marketing team analyze, improve, and execute growth strategies across the region. This includes regular reviews of growth levers ROI, subscription performance, performance marketing efficiency, and brand media impact to build a cohesive view of issues and opportunities in each market.
You will also be responsible for budgeting and a key partner to finance to manage and optimize the budgeting process.
Finally, you can work effectively across cross-functional teams and possess excellent stakeholder management skills to influence decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Weekly performance management on key topline KPIs and OKRs to analyze opportunities and identify potential issues with action plans on how to course-correct
Countries' monthly performance reviews, including incentive campaigns, pricing, subscriptions, performance marketing, and brand media
Quarterly market-level deep dives to provide a comprehensive 360 view across all marketing channels and levers to unlock growth opportunities
Strategic thought partner with local teams on how to drive growth, including sharing of case studies across the region to scale best practices
Manage OKRs including target definition, monthly performance management, and trend analyses
Build projects to drive OKRs, leveraging on other cross-functional teams within regional marketing
Identity and lead process improvement opportunities on measurement and tracking of performance
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across regional and local teams to influence any changes in strategy and drive growth in the region
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
3+ years of experience in strategy, planning, marketing, growth, or a related field, preferably within the tech or food delivery industry
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into actionable strategies
SQL skills are recommended
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, able to zoom in and out of problems consistently
Proven project management skills
Strong sense of ownership to work independently, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong slide-building skills to effectively communicate insights across different levels of seniority
Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations
Experience in budgeting and/or financial management
Experience with performance marketing and brand campaigns is a plus
Familiarity with the Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand markets is highly desirable
