We are looking for a PMO Manager (People Manager) to join our EU & APAC Consumer Platform team and reinvent on-demand delivery with us.
The EU & APAC Consumer Platform team at Delivery Hero consists of smart and driven people from all around the world who work closely together with our entities worldwide to provide an amazing experience to our customers. We provide the consumer platform for brands like foodpanda, foodora, and Yemeksepeti in 16 markets in the EU and APAC regions. The Product PMO team within Product Operations is managing complex projects and processes involving a variety of stakeholders, such as the implementation of cross-vertical product & tech solutions.
As the PMO Manager, you will lead the team of Senior Project Managers responsible for driving the most complex, high-priority initiatives across our EU & APAC Consumer Platforms. You will be a mentor, a strategist, and a key partner to product leadership, ensuring your team has the tools and guidance to reinvent on-demand delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership & People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Senior Project Managers. You will be responsible for their career growth, performance management, and day-to-day guidance in navigating complex global projects.
- Strategic PMO Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle for global initiatives, ensuring that the team’s portfolio is aligned with the group’s overarching vision and delivered with high-quality results.
- Framework & Methodology Ownership: Drive the evolution of the PMO framework. You will define and refine project management processes, methodologies, and tools to be used across the Product & Tech Organization.
- Stakeholder & Interdependency Orchestration: Act as a senior point of escalation and a bridge between cross-functional teams, resolving high-level interdependencies and providing transparent status updates to executive leadership.
- Organizational Change & Strategy: Analyze the impact of large-scale changes and develop engagement strategies to drive adoption across diverse, geographically distributed teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Natural Science Studies, or a related field.
- More than 6 years of project/program management experience, with at least 3 years specifically in people management, ideally within tech, e-commerce, or food delivery.
- Proven ability to manage teams handling multi-million user platforms and complex, cross-vertical tech solutions.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence senior management and navigate highly ambiguous environments.
- Deep knowledge of Project, Process, and Change Management (Agile, PMP, or Six Sigma preferred).
- A pragmatic, hands-on attitude toward building PMO frameworks and improving product development lifecycles.
- A forward-thinking-mindset with a pragmatic hands-on attitude.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
- (Agile) Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, AgilePM) or Six Sigma would be a plus.
- Experience in developing and implementing PMO frameworks, and familiarity with product development lifecycles would be an advantage.
