Assess medical expense claims’/medical invoices’ validity Assess medical or hospital leave claims Initiate payout to Platform workers process upon claim validity Initiate reimbursement process from insurers
Coordinate and follow up on injury reports with claimant / Provide excellent service to our platform worker community to ensure missing information is being provided and information is communicated
Update and maintain the injury record system on a daily basis and query out new injury claims from our database
Manage our agents from our shared service centre that are one channel in which injuries are being reported and adjust SOPs if necessary
Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward all stakeholders at all times
Responding promptly to Platform Workers' inquiries
Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions
Come up with initiatives to improve the process along the way as it is completely new / shape the injury process claim landscape in coordination with other stakeholders involved
Communicate closely with other teams (e.g. call centre, dispatching, HR and finance team)
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
What you need to be successful
Understanding of work injury related claims and process landscape
Background of working in an insurance or house HR experience with a general expertise in employee claim procedures
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree
Strong Excel and data management skills, SQL is a plus
Flexible, dynamic and engaging, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Eye for details
