About the opportunity

  • Support the Marketing Department on growth-related topics and data analytics duties for foodpanda in Hong Kong, which covers business verticals like food delivery, pick up, pandapro, pandago, etc.

  • Daily business performance monitoring, provide weekly stand-up to the Marketing Leadership

  • Develop reports and dashboards that provide reliable insights and visualisation relative to critical metrics, projections, and historical performance.

  • Develop quantitative analyses, ad hoc reports, and models to support marketing decision-making. Analysis areas might include (but are not limited to) consumer segmentation and penetration, competition, customer lifecycle & lifetime value, usage, pricing, profitability, return on company-wide and marketing investment, and other business and growth opportunities, etc.

  • Work with the Growth Manager to translate business insights into ideas and growth plans; work closely with both internal and external teams to support and conduct company-wide growth data projects to achieve expected performance/KPIs delivery;


What you need to be successful

  • Hungry to make a difference

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related areas

  • 2-3 years relevant experience in the related field. Experience in business & marketing data analytics or e-commerce in a start-up space is preferred

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, fast learner of new tools is a plus.

  • Having adequate statistics knowledge for data analysis, such as probability distributions, statistical significance, hypothesis testing, and regression, is a plus

  • Equipped with excellent knowledge in SQL and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Python, R or any other data analytics tools will be a plus

  • With a good understanding of the online delivery industry, strong entrepreneurship  mindsets & good analytical skills

  • Well organised, detailed-minded and always eager to push for extra miles

  • Be ambitious & passionate to take on new challenges but humble to learn at the same time

  • Extremely result-driven and a self-starter. You are super comfortable taking an idea and running with it, managing projects from start to finish.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, fluency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment. Things move very quickly around here, but you thrive in that.

  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Marketing Analyst.
