Data Engineering (50%):
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes of data.
Work with big data technologies and platforms to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
Implement data quality checks and ensure the integrity and accuracy of datasets.
Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to optimize data infrastructure and support data-driven initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring the smooth flow of information across the organization.
What you need to be successful
Domain Experience: Prior experience in B2C environments, particularly in Ecommerce and Food Delivery, is highly desirable, showcasing an understanding of customer behavior and market dynamics.
Project Experience: Proven track record in leading past projects, particularly in Ecommerce and Food Delivery domains, showcasing the ability to apply analytical skills to real-world scenarios. Curiosity and structured thinking are key qualities we seek, enabling the candidate to approach problems methodically and uncover insights effectively.
Technical Expertise: Keen understanding of technical concepts such as Cost per uplift, Cost per order, and ROI.
Software Skills: Proficiency in either PowerBI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio is essential for effective data visualization and analysis.
Database Knowledge: Strong familiarity with AWS databases is required to handle large volumes of data effectively.
External Tools: Experience with Braze is essential, along with familiarity with tools like Data.ai and App Annie for comprehensive data analysis.
Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to break down problem statements, test hypotheses, and conduct analytical techniques such as segmentation, root cause/cluster/cohort analysis.
