Quick Commerce is a fast-growing business unit within foodora, Yemeksepeti & foodpanda, three entities active across 18 markets in Europe & Asia, which are part of Delivery Hero, a global leader in online food ordering and delivery services. Quick Commerce consists of two main business segments - Dmarts (own-inventory model) and Shops (marketplace model), which are focused on delivering ultra-fast and convenient on-demand delivery solutions to customers.
About our role
We are seeking a Specialist, Private Label & Imports (SG/MY) to join our team. In this role, you will be under the pandamart Commercial team and will be supporting the Private Label & Import Manager in their day-to-day operational activities. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including commercial, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure the seamless execution of business initiatives and the success of our private label and imported products.
This role will be based in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and will be reporting to our Private Label & Imports Manager in Singapore.
Product Portfolio Management: Assist to enhance the product portfolio lifecycle from concept to retirement, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities. Prioritize product innovations, improvements, and removals based on performance metrics and consumer demand.
Operational Support: Provide comprehensive support to day-to-day commercial operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution across the private label & imports portfolio.
Supplier Coordination: Liaise with external suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and alignment regarding product specifications and delivery schedules.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct analysis to monitor product performance, trends, and competitor activity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues, streamline workflows, and support the successful execution of commercial initiatives and product launches.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Assists with the compliance of products with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Inventory & Demand Planning: Support the demand planning process, ensuring the right availability of stock in stores to meet customer needs.
Pricing Strategy Support: Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies based on thorough market analysis, cost structures, and customer expectations.
The role is only open to local/PRs to Malaysia
What you need to be successful
Functional skills-
Category management experience in a retail/e-commerce environment preferred
Knowledge on import/export regulations, customs processes, product development and pricing strategies are a plus.
Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel: V-lookup, Pivot table) and Google Sheets
Experience in Looker & Salesforce (Good to have and training will be provided)
Soft skills-
Highly meticulous and detail oriented
Willing to work on repetitive work with good quality while meeting strict deadlines
Good time management and organizational skills
Positive working attitude, a strong team player
