Specialist, Treasury

The Treasury Specialist plays a critical role in achieving the financial goals of the company. We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in treasury operations to join our team. The ideal candidate should be innovative, adaptable, and proactive in keeping up with emerging financial technologies and processes.

• Provide daily payment reports to support operational functions across relevant departments.
• Efficiently execute payments through online channels, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Organize and maintain a comprehensive repository of financial documents, such as remittance advice and bank statements.
• Proactively manage daily cash liquidity, optimizing cash flow to support effective company operations.
• Foster efficiency and cost-effectiveness by contributing to the continuous improvement and enhancement of financial processes.
• Stay updated with financial and industry developments and integrate emerging trends into treasury operations where applicable.
• Ensure compliance and risk mitigation by implementing and enforcing efficient policies and procedures to govern company treasury activities.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to address various financial challenges and opportunities.
• Cultivate strong and collaborative relationships with banking partners, facilitating seamless interactions and transactions.
• Work with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to optimize working capital, overseeing forecasted cash flow positions and related cash needs.

• At least Three or more years of experience in corporate finance or accounting, with a preference for prior treasury experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in finance, business, economics, or accounting, providing foundational knowledge for treasury operations.
• Demonstrated deep understanding of finance and treasury activities, encompassing banking, cash and liquidity management, and capital markets.
• Familiarity with finance systems and technology and a willingness to adopt new technological advancements to drive efficiency.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and lead multiple projects simultaneously, showcasing strong organizational and time management skills.
• Open-mindedness and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving work environment.
• Proficient in English communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in the local language is also preferred as the role will be liaising with local banking partners. 
• Additional certifications or coursework in treasury management or related fields are advantageous.
